Coiling~
Shaping~
And before you know it~ a pot!
You've seen the others... I meant to just go in & scrape & sand those pots today, but I never did get to it as I started this new one, and another one that I forgot to take a picture of... it was outside drying. Out of sight, out of mind you know.
:)
Another class was starting, so I had to get out of there before I was finished... Drat! I tend to get too many things going at once, which makes me dream again of that studio space where I can work all day with no interruptions!

You are a master bowl shaper, Becky! My favorite is the one you referred to as a salad bowl in your previous post, but the one topped with the bear lid is pretty special too! You're having so much fun, aren't you!
It's amazing how smooth that bowl can get when it starts out with coils! I'm impressed! If I sit long enough somewhere I just might have to try my hand at ceramics.
And you'll be selling these where? They are so beautiful even in the making. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Ahhhh, Becky.....you are the master potter. I see you have found your calling.
Wow! Wonderful pot. I am just so amazed at how fast you work.
You WILL have your studio one day, and so will I! xoxo
That pot is BIG! We'll all have to come for dinner. You get a lot of work done during studio time. PS Yes, wear your sunblock - I do year-round here at altitude.
I like one of them. You sure make me want to give clay another try.
Any fires near you?
I love that you shape your bowls under the watchful gazes of wolves.
Thanks everyone for your more than kind comments! I have a long way to go, but little by little, I learn.
:)
@ Clair~ one of my upcoming projects will be to try to sculpt a Wolf out of Micaceous clay... I was studying the features as I worked.
Ah, so THAT'S how it's done ! Ha ha - I could look at all your photos and still not have a clue - you are THE pot AND bear artist !
I guess that ADD is coming in handy (?)
;-)
