Dreaming of a White Christmas...

Well, according to the weather forecast, it won't likely be snowing here on Christmas... but we did finally get a little snow this week! Not the 4-6 inches that was predicted (we started the week off with rain!) but enough to dust everything in a wintery white... a beautiful day to go out walking... and as luck would have it, I had the day off to do just that!

I walked around town for quite some time, in awe at the beauty of it all... smiling a goofy smile. It was one of those days where you just feel happy to be alive... and thankful to have the leisure time to enjoy it!

Ah, there is nothing like snow in Santa Fe. It looks beautiful and everything smells so good, especially the fragrant wood smoke from fireplace fires. Lovely shots, Becky, I am so glad that you are there to enjoy it all.

these photos are beautiful. It would be so cool to walk around Santa Fe with you, snapping away. my fave is the Christmas lights strung in the tree. but the church is gorgeous too. I could just stare at these forever. I've only visited there in late summer, and this makes me want to experience this season too. thanks for sharing. I hope you get a white Christmas. I'm still awaiting our first snowfall here, and it's very unusual for us to have none. happy weekend to you Becks.

Becky...looks just like Big Bear! Well, except for the adobe and the church and the town square. Okay, maybe it's just the snow we have in common! Have a great holiday.

Becky, All of these photos show scenes of great beauty and serenity. Love the farolitos/luminarias! Our snow is now almost all gone; don't mind the warmer weather, but I think we need more snow because the sky tends to be gray and grim. Got your card...many thanks!! Love sending and receiving them, esp if they, like yours, is really a part of you! Next year I'll have some from Santa Fe taken with my new camera. Excited to use it, too.

These photos are amazing Becky. Sounds like we're in for a big storm on Monday and Tuesday according to CNN.
