Aaaaah... Fall Color!

In between work & "clay days," I haven't had time for much else! I hadn't been up on the mountain for a few weeks, but I'd been watching the progression of fall color from town and I knew if I didn't get up there soon, I'd miss it until next year. So after the Pit fire today, rather than come home & take pics of my pots... up the mountain I went! It was absolutely gorgeous! I've said it before, but nature's beauty never ceases to amaze me!
:)
...Stay tuned for Wednesday is Clay Day~ The Season Finale!
Coming Soon!
(it was rainy by the time I got home & couldn't get any good pics of my pots!)
:)

I agree with you, Becky, Nature does never cease to amaze me either! Your photos are magnificent. Every single one is worth framing. Enjoy the season! I love your clay days ;-)

Wow! You found some treasure in the mountains. I love that second shot - the trees seem clumped tightly together with a few evergreens thrown in for contrast! Awaiting your pot grand finale!

Becky,
You are probably going to get the same storm that has been stuck over San Diego and Norhtern Baja for the past three days. It moved very slowly and is finally moving out tonight. We got over two and a half inches of rain in O-side. They said it was headed toward the four corners and New Mexico. You may be in for a couple of days of warm rain.

ABsolutely gorgeous! They look like Aspen in the Rockies. Do you live near the Rockies or is this some other mountain? I have never seen them so clumped together and so gorgeous as these. Being from the Midwest we always kind of pooh poohed the Westerners their bragging about the aspens because we have many colors here but now that I live back in the Midwest I remember with fondness the aspens strewn among the evergreens.

Wow Becky - you sure were right that it was time to go to the mountains and share the spectacular colour with us !! Thank you.

Beautiful barely describes it. I can't believe that 2nd photo !

You would have kicked yourself all winter if you had missed this.

Your fall colors (and your photos) are spectacular! We had a less-than-spectacular showing this year. That's two years in a row now. Ah, well, maybe next year. In the meantime, I get to experience a glorious fall vicariously through your photos. Thanks!

Becky, I'm glad that you took time out to get up to the area of such beauty.

Very nice. At first I saw the SOU reference and thought this could be something local to me that I somehow missed.
