A Walk Through O'Keefe Country, Through My Eyes

A Landscape that needs no words... but you can clearly see why Georgia loved it so much here. I could have spent days exploring in the hills behind Ghost Ranch... and hope to get there again in the not to distant future & do just that! Be Sure to check Georgia O'Keefe's interview in the post below~
It's awesome!

What amazing country. I have to admit that I had to learn to love it, though. When I first came out to NM, my New England eyes kept looking around for trees and water. Now, if I were to go back East, I would be looking for big sky and far horizons.

Wonderful photos, Becky. You can tell there's been abundant rain this summer.

You KNOW I LOVE these! My favorite artist! We didn't make it to Ghost Ranch. Your pictures are gorgeous! And the heart rock? Precious! I'm collecting heart rocks now from wherever we travel. It's amazing how easy they are to spot. Congrats on finding that one!

You honor the landscape with your photography, Becky. The layers in the first photo draw my eyes to the blue sky. Is it turning fall? I'm coming through your town in Oct.

Becky you have touched my soul! I love your photos. My partner and I have five acres of land in this area with the hope of building and retiring there.
