Taking a Technology Break...

It's been months since my last post... I cancelled my internet in July as a cost cutting measure, (that 50 bucks a month could be better spent on groceries & clay!) so I'm rarely on the internet these days, and I've realized it's good to take a little technology break here & there. I've considered quitting the blog, but I'll keep it up for now... who knows~ I may get back to it at some point. Anyhow, leaving you with a few photos from my backpacking trip in Yosemite this summer.
Enjoy!
:)

Glad you posted, Becky! I've been wondering how your trip to CA was. These photos indicate you had a grand adventure! You got mighty close to that rattle snake! I hope it wasn't in your camp. It sure is camouflaged. Love the waterfalls, the streams, the rock walls, the trails - you saw some wonderful sights. I especially like the alpenglow on the mountain. We're having so much rain here in CO - good for our forests and streams, but it sure has been wet. Hope you can post now and then - I like seeing how the clay work is coming along.

It's good to see you here, Becky. Your photos are wonderful. I felt so bad for all the animals in the recent wildfires, and thought of that when looking at the snake portrait.

We were hoping to make it to Pie Town for the Pie Festival this weekend but are starting to have some second thoughts. Keeping an eye on the flash flood warnings and road closures--it would be an awfully long drive for a piece of pie, especially if we were to encounter dangerous conditions along the way. We'll see.

I hope to see you here every once in a while. I miss seeing your newest pottery. Those micaceous pots are stunning and of course, we all love your bears!

It is always good to open up your blog and see a new post; please do not stop permanently because we like to see your progress and products. Glad that you had a restful and fun summer. Your photos are terrific. Also love to see the art objects We will be in Santa Fe again in Feb & March, but staying closer to town for a change in a much smaller unit. Bringing Maggi along; perhaps you can come over for an evening meal one night while we're there. We'll stay in touch. Tell us what your fall plans are going to be this year.
