Just sharing a few pics I've taken around Santa Fe since I've been back. Most were taken the weekend I got here, when they had just gotten fresh snow. I had a couple of days off before I had to get back to work, so I spent some time walking around town & hiking.

St Francis Cathedral

Adobe Church near the Plaza

Side street off the Plaza

View of town from Picacho Peak

Farolito's on Canyon Road~ Christmas Eve
Now I'm back to working like crazy, trying to recoup my travel & moving expenses & still looking for a place to call home! I haven't had a chance to do anything artistic since I've been back... but am really looking forward to getting back into it once I get settled in. I can't believe the New Year is just around the corner... the weeks, months, years seem to be flying by lately.
Wishing you all a Happy & Safe New Year!!!
:) :) :)

We just made a flying trip to Santa Fe and back yesterday. I'm glad to see the snow in your photos--and that it was all gone when we were driving there.

Beautiful shots, Becky! Happy New Year in your new life!

Oh, thanks for the lovely photos - I enjoyed living in Santa Fe so many years ago - I wonder if I'd still recognize it?

I hope you will find a comfortable place to call your home. Good luck with that.

Happy New Year!

Your variety of photos made me remember my wonderful trip to Santa Fe in the fall. The view you took of St Francis is great - I was only shooting it head-on because of the center window. Looks like there is some snow in the mountains at least. I hope you soon find a place to call home for awhile, Becky. I wish you all the best in 2011. Soon you'll be settled and will make your art once again.

I love the shot of the luminaria, in particular.

You have a terrific eye, for sure.
