"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous."

The Freezing of Nambe Creek~ Click to Enlarge for More Detail

It's no secret that I find just about anything to do with nature completely fascinating and soul reviving. The seasons and their accompanying colors, the detail in the tiniest leaf or rock, the smells of the forest after rainfall, the wide expansive vistas and towering mountain peaks. It's hard to capture in Photography exactly how beautiful something is, or perhaps more importantly how it makes you feel, but I shall forever keep trying.
:)

P.S~ a little note... I'll be on the road & visiting with family for a bit... so if I don't check in regularly, I'm still thinking of all you out there!
:)

lovely photos! and yes, that thing about trying to communicate the feeling- or how i see or understand something- i never know if i manage to do that, but these photos convey a reverence for nature, and the peace & solitude of an icy stream-

Flowing water under the ice makes for mesmerizing photos, Becky! I enlarged each and every one. I love the blue of the ice and the texture of the stones being smoothed by the water. Enjoy your visit with Family!

Abstract art - found in nature, and you capture it very well Becky. I know the feeling whereof you speak - I'll take a stroll out in nature any day !

Have a safe trip and enjoyable visit !

Gorgeous! I love looking at nature up-close like this, too. You can see the universe in a drop of water, if you take the time to look.

Happy travels!
