Ah, it has been so long since I last posted! Since arriving back from visiting my family, my time has been pretty much consumed by work, clay classes and various other things that need my attention... not much time/energy left for blogging. But driving home from class tonight I caught sight of this huge Lenticular Cloud formation over the Mountains of Santa Fe, and I wanted to share it :). I didn't have my camera with me, but was hoping this formation would stick around long enough for me to get home to get it & luckily it did, though let me tell you, these pictures do not do justice the scene as I observed it. This series was taken in a range of 25 minutes or so~ from blue skies, to sunset glow, to dusk. I so appreciate the beauty of nature.

Wow!!!
Awesome capture! =)
You are a true artist, always alert for good images. You did a fine job and I'm happy that you were able to capture these clouds for our enjoyment!
WOW! What a difference 25 minutes can make! I thought you had photo processed to get the different colors. How amazing that it was Mother Nature's own processing. Glad you're safe and sound, Becky. Your life sounds busy and interesting.
Fabulous photos! Love how you changed the photo to give it totally different looks.
So glad you are back and posting!
TFS!

You caught it. I saw it but did not have my camera with me at the time. Class is good, not sure why though but I am so tired and I can't get through the reading at the end of the day. Are you taking classes at SFCC or Santa Fe Clay?
what great shots! i am amazed at the small amount of change in the cloud from beginning to end- and of course the colors in the second are beautiful. thanks for sharing-
