Well, not quite the Winter Wonderland that was predicted by the weather service, but enough to give us a fresh dusting of snow, and w/ temps in the low 30's today... perfect hiking weather! I took these while out hiking Picacho Peak today with a friend... it was a beautiful day to be out & about. Thankful for heat right about now, as our lows by monday night are predicted to be in the single digits & more snow on the way!
Hope you're all staying warm out there!

that new header photo is gorgeous! and so too your wonderland shots; what a beautiful spot it is where you live. I'm wishing we would get snow - it's all around us but we've gotten rain the last two storms. I'm traveling this week, so if anything will bring us snow, that should do it! happy week to you Becky.
These are amazing. You so lucky to have gotten out and about. I can't wait for that. Thanks for the wish. I am not one for public speaking so I am pretty nervous already. Have a wonderful week!
Staying warm and cozy here, but appreciating your beautiful photos, Becky!
It's very hot in my corner of the world. Yours looks very cool and beautiful too.
Haven't experienced any snow yet...it's still in the 40's here with rain. That last photo is lovely, Becky!
So beautiful!
TFS!

We have just had the first fall of snow in the north of the UK as well......Keep safe and warm.

Hi Becky, Just because I'm on "break" doesn't mean I won't occasionally visit old friends! That last photo of the peaks really is dramatic - shows a lot of depth. I'm going to beat you on the chill factor - into minus digits here overnight with wind chills predicted to minus 35! (Bob is talking about skiing tomorrow - I'm in a wait and see attitude.) Have a good December, Becky.
It looks so beautiful and very similar to how it is here. I hear the snow is down south at this point in time. Enjoy your wonderful hikes. I must get out myself!
Hi there. The class I took was Adobe InDesign. Our final was to recreate a magazine article and make it look exactly like the original. The second part was to create an interactive piece from that article and then present both as if we were presenting it to a client. So happy it's over and now I am feeling hungover from the stress.
Ah, but it looks lovely! I hope the temperature rises above single digits while we are there in Jan and Feb. See you then!
Quite a different December you enjoy! I love such a serene and cold winter with falling snow more. Your photos please the eye, delightful!
